If the animal has been previously exposed to an allergen (antigen) and produces high levels of IgE antibodies, administration of the sensitizing antigen directly into the bloodstream can cause anaphylactic shock and related allergic reactions such as urticaria, urticaria and facial conjunctivitis there is edema.
